We moved here from out of state, which is always a bit of a challenge. North Pointe Apartments was our top choice, as it ... met or surpassed all of our criteria: a location convenient to groceries and allowing for a short commute, amenities, good floor plan, etc. Our visit in person to North Pointe confirmed that they had the best value. We now enjoy living here. Office and maintenance staff have been very courteous and professional--a few very minor issues with the apartment upon move-in were resolved immediately. The apartment itself has good flow and lots of storage space. The amenities (fitness room, pool, etc.) are well-maintained. We occasionally hear movements of other tenants, but that should not scare anyone away from an otherwise great place. I've lived here for a couple of months and I LOVE it. I moved to get away from the city apartment I was in where parking ... was awful, the walls were paper thin and I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors did/said and all I could see was the freeway from my windows. Now I have heated underground parking, I don't have to go outside. Visitors have ample parking to park for free. I have a balcony with beautiful trees right outside and fresh air. The pool and all the amenities are great, the pool gets cleaned every week! I can hear my upstairs neighbors walking around sometimes, and I can hear other people's washers/dryers running, but compared to my old place the noise level is heaven. I had a maintenance issue that was fixed within a couple of days. The management team feeds my cat for me when I have to travel for work, and are very responsive and nice. Everyone I run into is really friendly. The commute into Milwaukee is not bad, and hasn't been much of an adjustment. Can't go wrong with this place. Highly recommend!! Many great things about Northpointe! Jodi was a great help upon our lease signing and move-in; she is prompt answering emails/questions ... a new tenant might have. The grounds are always kept up nicely, maintenance guys are very friendly, convenient location, i almost never hear my neighbors while in my apt, the windows all have storm windows, i love that the pool area is open at all times- the whirlpool is a real treat after working long days, parking is great! Apartment was in great condition and very clean upon move-in. You can definitely see the difference in quality and reputation when comparing Northepointe management to the standards of other large Milwaukee area property management companies. I moved here last December. I chose Northpointe because of the amenities they offer. Indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub. ... On-site gym and weight room. The cyber lounge. They have maintenance on staff daily as well as office staff. Not only is the staff polite and helpful, but they remember my name and apartment number (there are over 100 apartments!) The place is professionally cleaned each week. There is a car washing station in the underground garage! I can rinse off my car as often as I like. The tenants I have met all seem happy here. I've talked to a number of people who have lived here for more than 10 years! I can't wait for my first Summer here. The air conditioning (as well as the heat) is included in my rent! We have just started our 5th year at Northpointe. We were very impressed when we first moved in, but I have to say it just ... keeps getting better! The things that are being put into place each year makes this the best place to stay. They have a children's area now, so I can take my grandson outside to play. There is a gazebo with a grill along the river, so I can invite family and still feel a little like I am not on a patio. ALL the staff are exceptional! Never have a worry about anything getting done. Our experience at Northpointe has been positive. The staff are friendly, and the maintenance team (Jack and Tony) shows ... a real sense of ownership in their care of the building and grounds. If there is a need to fix or replace aspects of your apartment, just enter in a work order and they will take care of you. If you see something around the building that has not been taken care of yet, simply enter in a work order request. It's likely it just hadn't been reported and you will be helping by pointing out the small things. Jack and Tony clearly take pride in their stewardship of Northpointe. The only downside I could pick out are the rental rates going up year after year, which is stated to happen because the rates have increased in the area's market. $10/month increase in 2014 and a $40/month increase this year. Keep this in mind that with apartment living. The amenities are great, having a 24/7 indoor pool and whirlpool is very nice. I feel the Property Manager, Melanie, took up the mantle from her predecessor very proficiently, and has successfully built up an expanded office staff. Speaking of the office staff, you can drop-in virtually any time during their hours to get a quick answer to your questions. They care about your experience living there. I love living here at North Pointe in Brown Deer, WI. From the start Jodi greets you with energy and you know she is excited ... with what she does. She knew exactly what I wanted and worked with me to ensure my needs were met. Once I moved in, I gave the staff a list of my work orders. They were completed within the week. The convenience of the staff signing for my package so that I don’t have to play "tag you're it" with FEDEX and UPS. The apartment amenities are amazing, my kids calls it “The RESORT”. North Pointe is centered of all shops I need and minutes away from other villages that I visit often. It’s quiet and clean, I would definitely recommend anyone to live here.
